Default Metol-Hydroquinone Developer GAF 125

Metol-Hydroquinone Developer GAF 125

Water (125 F or 52 C)-------------------------------------750.0 ml
Metol-------------------------------------------------------3.0 grams
Sodium Sulfite (anhydrous)--------------------------------- 44.0 grams
Hydroquinone---------------------------------------------- 12.0 grams
Sodium Carbonate (monohydrated)-------------------------- 65.0 grams
Potassium Bromide------------------------------------------- 2.0 grams
Add cold water to make------------------------------------- 1.0 liter

Paper Development: Dilute 1 part stock solution with 2 parts water. Develop 1 to 2 minutes at 68 F (20 C).

For softer and slower development dilute 1 part stock solution with 4 parts water and develop 1.5 to 3 minutes at 68 F (20 C).

Ansco/Agfa 125 is a Blue/Black Tone Paper Developer. It can also be used for the Rapid Development of Press Film by diluting 1 part of the stock solution with 3 parts of water. Normal development of Agfa Press Films is 3 to 4 minutes at 65F (18C).
