Ilford ID-11 Fine Grain Developer
A Metol-hydroquinone (M.Q.) borax developer for use with films and plates. Gives fine grain without any loss in emulsion speed.
Warm Water (52C or 125F) . . . 500cc
Metol . . . 2g
Sodium Sulphite, anhyd . . . 100g
Hydroquinone . . . 5g
Borax . . . 2g
Add cold water to make . . . 1 litre
Use without dilution in dish or tank.
Replenisher for ID-11 Developer
A replenisher designed to maintain the activity of Ilford's ID-11 film developer, thus prolonging its use.
Warm Water (52C or 125F) . . . 500cc
Metol . . . 3g
Sodium Sulphite, anhyd . . . 100g
Hydroquinone . . . 7.5g
Borax . . . 20g
Add cold water to make . . . 1 litre
Add to the developer tank as necessary in order to maintain the original volume of developer. Under normal working conditions, where the tank is in regular use, a total quanitiy of replenisher equal to that of the original developer may be added before the developer must be discarded.
