Default Kodak Metol-Pyro Developer D-7

Stock Solution A
Water @ 52C 500ml
Metol 7.5 grams
Sodium Bisulfite 7.5 grams
Pyrogallol 30 grams
Potassium Bromide 4.0 grams
Water to make 1 liter


Stock Solution B
Water @ 52C 750ml
Sodium Sulfite anhydrous 150 grams
Water to make 1 liter

Stock Solution C
Water @ 52C 750ml
Sodium Carbonate monohydrated 90 grams
Water to make 1 liter

Tank Development:
Take 250ml each Solutions A,B & C and add water to make 4 liters.
Normal development time, about 10 minutes at 20C
This tank developer is best when used as a one-shot

However, this tank developer can be used for two or three weeks if kept up to its normal volume by adding fresh developer
In the proportion of 64 ml each Solutions A,B & C to 250 ml of water.
Also, it is usually necessary to increase the development time as the developer ages.


Tray Development:
Take 64 ml each Solutions A,B & C and add 500 ml water.
Normal development time, about 7 minutes at 20C
Use the working developer once and discard

That's my favorite Pyro dev
It looks like you forget to select the Solution A formula.

I use it a little differently I mix 1+1+1 + 24 And dev trix( 200iso) for 9 minute in it FP4 (80iso) for 7 minute. Tmax 100 ( 80 iso) 8 minutes.
It isn't a fine grain developer as PMK but great stain and so little base +fog.
Using less chemical create more secondary stained image that using the normal dilution.

Thank you Christian! Sandman also spotted the fact that Solution A was missing. I just inserted Solution A into the recipe. D-7 was the first Pyro developer I tried and it is also still one of my favorites.
