If anybody hasn't been watching, The new Impossible Project site was put up this morning.

    Little tidbit of interest.

    Film now available

According to an Email I've just recieved from The Impossible Project the first new films are now on sale in the US.

We are honored to announce that these fantastic and increasingly rare films have arrived on our shores. From this day onward, all of our venerable Polaroid films, as well as (hopefully soon) NEW film materials, will be delivered fresh - directly from our new US warehouse.

Concerning our new warehouse, we have two minor announcements. First and foremost, we hope you understand that in order to provide you the best service possible, and due to a recent USPS fee increase, we are forced to raise our flat-rate shipping to $11 on all orders.

Finally, we must adjust our three-day shipping claim to account for the realities. We would like to apologize to those of you on the western frontier, who will experience extra shipping days, but such is the length and breadth of our great land that deliveries from UPS and USPS require up to 6 business days from our Boston-based warehouse. Those of you in the Deep South and you hearty souls in the Midwest should receive your packages in 2-4 business days and all you Yankees should expect the postman to call within 3 business days or less!

All of this brings us to the announcement of our limited-time promotion:

We celebrate the re-arrival on our golden shores
of these soon-to-be-snapped soldiers by offering you
$5 off shipping costs for the next 55 hours!*

    *starting 11:55am EST on March 2, 2010

The shop part of their website seems to have gone into overload.

In answere to Varya's question about availablity whether in stores like Freestyle or just Online:

An EU online store posted on APUG a week or two ago and seemed to indicate that was the case but their post as deleted.

I read it as was in their warehouse initially, the wording is a bit ambiguous.

I had emailed them and they had told me that they are working on hooking up to sell with stores like Freestyle and B&H.

So... they are currently selling the "old" Pola stock, and will soon be selling their "new" stock?
