I actually just built an instax mini camera out of legos. For processing, I just ripped the rollers out of a Polaroid 600 camera I found at a thrift store for all of 3 dollars.
My camera can be seen over in the home-built cams thread. Apparently I'm not allowed to post links yet.
Are you thinking of making it a dedicated camera to take a whole pack? The tolerances are a bit difficult for ejecting.

Funny you should say that... it's the Instax Wide I'm working with at the moment.
Once I get my "mad scientist's lab" back up and running, I'll be looking into making a roller-processor for Instax Wide (and probably Instax Mini too).
