Best Place to get film developed in Vancouver
Hey
I'm in Vancouver on business this week, and I'm wondering if anyone here can suggest a store where I can get my negatives developed at a reasonable price. I'm looking for C-41, E6, and cross processing services. I'm located downtown, and don't really have the time to trek out to the suburbs.
Thanks!

London Drugs? That's right downtown.

I haven't used them in a long while, but if I was looking right downtown I'd talk to CustomColor to see if they will meet your needs:

Otherwise, I'd suggest either ABC Photocolour:

or G King Photo:

both of whom are just slightly outside of the downtown area.
Hope you enjoy your visit.

Hello Shelley-Ann,
I am rarely in Vancouver, but always use G King Photo when there (see Matt's link). A few years back they did some E-6 127 for me. They had to find their 127 hanger (they are dip and dunk) but still had it ready before closing time. Their service was top notch.
Cheers,
Clarence

I can't believe no one mentioned The Lab! Faster turn around time than any of the above mentioned labs due to multiple runs during the day.

The Lab Rules!
I second that - the Lab is close to downtown and does excellent work. G.King and CustomColour are okay in a pinch but check out the Lab...

My favorite lab (Island Pro Lab) closed a while ago in Victoria. Since then I have tried others in Victoria and some in Vancouver. I am not familiar with "The Lab" but I am looking to find a high quality professional lab that I can rely on.
My experience with most of the labs that I have tried in the last couple of years was a hit and miss situation.
Any advice would be appreciated.

I have tried Custom Colour several times in the last few months and so far I am very pleased with their work.
High quality prints and scans, from 135 and 120.
