9 should be fine I think.

Here is a link to where I think the vico baths are, but I'm not sure..... anyone with local knowledge here where we might park etc?

    google maps link

Here's a link to a geological walk, if you scroll down to "stop 4" it tells how to get down to white rock across the dart line:

I'll be tagging along, might have new toy in the bag if all goes to plan, lots of parking along the road at White Rock so this might be best starting point. I will try arrive early and set up the tripod as a marker.

Fran, getting down is easy, getting back up is a lot more challenging !!!

I might be interested in tagging along, if that's ok-
and provided the weather takes a turn for the better...

Thanks George- would be good to meet up again-
but I think it'll be down to the weather more than anything else-

Eddie, I might try to get there earlier too-

I haven't shot big film in a long time, so it'd be good to get a sheet or two exposed...

So, yes we are all going ahead on Saturday. Meet at the white rock part, can just park on Vico road (from Eddies post above).

That strand along there doesn't look huge, so I think a bunch of lads with big cameras on tripods under dark cloths should stand out!!

Forecast looks pretty good, photographers ephemeris gives sunrise as 8.06 and low tide at 8.00 for anyone who is interested.
