Default Draft flyer for apug.org/ireland

Hello Irish APUGers,

I've done a small flyer for posting in the shops/galleries/colleges and looking for some feedback on it.

Can you please see the attachment and give me your views.

A big thanks to Eddie Mallin http://eddiemallin.my-expressions.com/ for the use of his image.

Fintan

The info info in green at the top right is repetitive. It restates what the apug logo has already told me. With flyer's simplicity is key. Say what needs to be said, and nix everything else.

I would recommend APUG Ireland at the top. 86 the other text on the photo (analog photography users group /ireland a new group for traditional photographers in ireland), but keep the web address.

Overall the design is strong ang professional. It just needs to be simplified.

Hope I was of some help.

Fintan,

Looks good to me. At some point it might be an idea to try create a version of the APUG logo with the word Ireland in it, I've attached a botch job as an Idea of what I'm talking about.

Fintan,

As promised I had added a link from our site (http://www.focusonireland.com/links.html) to the APUG/Ireland regional group. I have used the text from the flyer as a description. If you can send me the latest version of the flyer I'll add it to the links section of our site as a download.

You're welcome Sean, there's a small but enthusiastic analog community here we need online. Here's hoping anyway.
