Open House
A unique group exhibition
Opening Saturday 16th February at 2pm
Exhibition runs from 16 February – 2 March 2008
To celebrate the creative energy of the Cork area Sirius Arts Centre is inviting a wide range of artists to exhibit in a unique group exhibition. This is an invitation to open submission of work, admission is open to artists over the age of 18, working in a variety of materials.
All work must be wall based for this exhibition.
There is no theme to this exhibition but there are restrictions regarding work submitted as follows (Please read carefully):
All work must be wall-based and delivered ready for hanging (ie framed, mounted or with a proper hanging device on the back).
v Due to space limitatins artwork can be no bigger than 75cm squared.
v Each artist may submit no more than 2 pieces of artwork. Artists must be at least 18 years of age.
v Art works will be accepted on a first come, first served basis due to limited space in the gallery.
v Artists interested in submitting work must RSVP to Sirius (021 481 3790) to arrange for drop-off of the work during the dates listed above.
v This is not a juried exhibition, but the content of the work must be appropriate for an “all ages” audience.
v Sirius Arts Centre will take 30% commission on any sales of artwork.
v Sirius Arts Centre is not responsible for any damage to artworks.
!!Work submitted that is not ready for hanging will not be included in the exhibition!!
Please note: Unsold work must be picked up from Sirius after the exhibtion between 3 – 9 March or the work will be destroyed.
Hanging will be done at the descretion of Sirius Arts Centre. All art work will be placed in the best possible location, given the amount of works submitted and space limitation in the Sirius Galleries.
Drop off dates are: Wed 13 – Friday 15 February 11am – 4:30 pm

Exhibition opening reception will take place on Saturday 16 February at 2pm |
