Cloughlea is a short drive over Sally Gap (via Glenmacnass waterfall).

There are a couple of B+B's in Roundwood itself, Lynham's in Laragh is very comfortable though, and the bar usually has a bit more atmosphere. It also stocks Redbreast whiskey!

I decided it was easiest to just ring the Lodge.

They said at the moment there are rooms available for that date and being their "Christmas party night" the bar will be open anyway.

That means we could have the location we wanted with a bar... all in falling distance of our beds.

If you saw a man drowning and you could either save him or photograph the event...what kind of film would you use?

I'll retire to my own bed that night as I live nearby.
