Thanks for the paper Hugh......MOPS
-
Someone on gumtree.ie selling a Leica M6 with three Leica lenses (24mm Elmarit, 90mm summicron and a tri-elmar) for 750 euros ....
-
Best to check the serial numbers to make sure it's not stolen!
-
Hugh I reckon its safe to assume someone is selling something they dont know the value of, whether its an inheritance or hot goods I dunno.
-
The plot thickens ... M6 ad is now gone. But an ad for an M8 has now appeared ... 750 euros ...

Theres a lot of "too good to be true" camera ads on Gumtree lads - BEWARE . The usual tell tale is theres no mobile number . You reply to an email - usaully the guy is in some foreign country and you can guess the rest! I'm going to have a look now and see..maybe I'm wrong .
-
Yea its a classic scam ad alright - another tell tale is "off the web" pictures . I usually need to see a mobile number AND home taken pictures of the object before I even think its genuine .
-
I spotted it last night and reported it. I spotted two must check that the second one was also deleted.

Someone needs to buy the below, so it will stop tempting me I just bought a Rollei 35T recently and know I don't need this..
..but the fact the asking price is about a third what these normally go for is not really helping
