I had my Hassie with the zone plate fitted and went out to photograph a
group of hardy ( i.e. mental) souls who took part in the first ever Winter Frostie Swimming Race held at Skerries.
It snowed just before the race and was 0 degrees out of the water and not much different in it either I believe. Should also mention that the finish point was on an exposed headland so with a breeze blowing the wind-chill made it feel more like -2.
Still I got some really nice pics (have just devved the negs which are hanging up to dry).
Even though it was freezing cold it was nice and bright (f65 @ 1/30 second for fuji 400asa at ei 320)
