    Those nice, bright colors...

[Edit: Third row up, left-hand of the two players, big ears, 1966, Kodachrome by my dad, click here...]

"There is very limited audience for the arty stuff, and it is largely comprised of other arty types, most of whom have no money to spend because no one is buying their stuff either. More people bring their emotions to an image than bring their intellect. The former are the folks who have checkbooks because they are engineers, accountants, and bankers—and generally they are engineers, accountants and bankers because they are not artists."

So did you keep the ears or have them cropped?

I wanted ears like yours. Mine only got bigger.

Do you know if yours was projected often? Mine was and I do see fading by comparison...

Probably not that often, dad would share new stuff at the typical saturday night slide shows with a couple different sets of friends, some more, some less, but pretty rare beyond that.

Regardless of how many times they were shown most of my dad's Kodachromes look great, the bigger issue there seems to be the color temp when shot. His Ektachromes from that era though are another story.

Those are great, Mark. In fact you've inspired me to post a few oldies. From before I existed. Pardon the awful scans.
