Call for Entry: Have your work featured on F295

F295 is actively seeking fresh and exciting work to feature on our recently redesigned web site. We enjoy considering a variety of work –from photo books and portfolios to singular images, essays, and reviews– to feature on the site.

I'm not submitting anything, since I print my film images digitally (I have serious health issues that make darkroom work impossible), but as a longtime professional artist, I want to thank you for your call to entry. It is refreshing to see someone asking for submission without charging the artists a fee. To me, that is unethical and is a form of gambling, since entry fees are kept even if the work submitted is rejected. Most galleries seem to think we're cash cows to be milked. You're one of the good guys, Tom. Thank you again.
