I am so sorry to hear of Ted's passing, Amy. I knew him not much than by username, but I wanted to offer my sympathy. You will let us know if there is ANYTHING we can do. God be with you.
"Wubba, wubba, wubba. Bing, bang, bong. Yuck, yuck, yuck and a fiddle-dee-dee." - The Yeti
Please forgive this one last announcement here, but many folks have written me asking to be informed when we had plans in place for a little time together to celebrate Ted. We're going to be at our house in Enfield, NH, on Saturday, May 17, at noon, and I hope that anyone who'd like to will join our family and friends to help us bring Ted home.
If you have to choose, rest assured that you can celebrate just as appropriately at the Ted Harris Memorial Shooting Weekend -- Bruce Barlow has info on that, write him at BBarlow690@aol.com -- or by contributing to the online memorial website Dave Parker (email@example.com) is putting together for those who have said they would like to "shoot where they are" and share the results online in Ted's memory. My bet is that all of these times will be equally Ted-like, and he'd be glad to know you enjoyed any of them.
I think the thing for me to do is to offer to send you directions to our home in Enfield if you'll write to me with word that you'd like to join us, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thanks again to everyone who's posted and contacted me this week... your support has been of immeasurable comfort.
Dave Parker has set up a memorial website at http://www.tedharrismemorial.org/ for people to leave messages, images, and to post images for auction to create a scholarship in Ted's name at the Vermont Center for Photography.
