Printing with Bob... or The Great Weekend I had at Elevator

I realize I am partial and that Bob has become a good friend, but I spent this past weekend in the darkroom printing BIG with Bob Carnie and have to say it was one of the best photographic experiences I've had in some time. Bob is helping me print for a show that will be my first ever of large toned and split-toned, silver gelatin prints (30 x 30). The work is turning out far better than I expected and I have to thank everyone at Elevator for their patience, support and understanding. Everyone and everything is top shelf and completely geared to the fine art phototgrapher's archival and aesthetic needs. If you're looking to make traditional, wet darkroom prints in large sizes as well as small, this is the place. I can't wait to get back up there in a couple weeks to do it again.

Hope you and Bob don't mind that I've attached a few snaps of the man at work.

(rebate will be trimmed for mounting)

Are these from 6x6? I'm just guessing from the square format.

I too, had a chance to see them this weekend. The images look utterly fantastic in person.

Unfortunately the same cannot be said about Bob.
