Just so there is no confusion: MCP 310 and 312 are RC papers glossy and matt coated on someone elses machine with our emulsion.

The machine we will make the MCC on is still beeing assembled and thus we can present the RC paper now but not the fibre version.

Yes, these papers will be just like the ones made by Agfa Germany before. Just the base has changed a bit in the meantime and there will be no backprint.

You can order directly with us (info@fotoimpex.de) or contact freestyle for north america.

Best regards,

Mirko

When MCP is eventually coated onto the new machine, will there be a noticeable difference to the current paper?

How could anyone know that in advance?

Well it depends on what one calls noticeable.
There are noticeable differences between any batch of photopaper but you might need very precise instruments to measure this.

As far as MCP is concerned there is no necessary difference. We can adjust any parameter on the old machine which we can adjust on the contract coaters machine. The engineers in charge know how to shape the curve and which other knobs to turn. So I donīt expect anyone to see any difference.

Best regards,

Mirko

Default MCP now shipping in Europe

we started shipping the new MCP 310 and 312 just before Photokina.

We hope to get into a stable production cycle within the first quarter of 2009.

Right after that we will also start making the fibre version.

Kind regards,

Mirko

Are there any samples of 312 available?

Gary,

yes we have sample packs in a metric format: 24x30 cm.
We sold over 500 at Photokina and have a good stock in Berlin.

Freestyle has the small 8x10"/25 packs, so thereīs no need for additional sample packs.

If anyone from the US would like to try the metric paper samples before freestyle gets their shippment in we would ask for postage only.

Kind regards,

Mirko
