Seems I got my copy just in time, bought it only a few months ago.
It's a great book, I wish you all the best in getting a next edition published!

Secondhand copy
For those who can't wait I just saw one copy at http://www.secondhanddarkroom.co.uk/...p=14&cat=92833 for £30.
I bought mine ages ago so I don't need it.

Ed Unfortunately 'No'. This is the job of the publisher and the distributors. However, it's too early for that anyway.

This is a good question, which needs a detailed answer in due time. For now, I can give you the short answer of 'lots of changes and lots of new content'. Ed1 had 304 pages, Ed2 will have well over 500 pages. This edition will be a hard-cover book due to volume, but its size and layout will not change. Ed2 will have over 1,000 illustrations and photographs, and we cover some obvious omissions of Ed1 (mounting, framing, print presentation) and added lots of new content, but the final content is still not decided yet.
It may actually help if owners of Ed1 tell us what they would like to have in Ed2. Just let me know, you'll never know...

Well, "How to make fiber papers flat without the hasle", or "How to find the right development time and film speed rating in thirty minutes" would be nice.
Or maybe an explanation why too much maths isn't necessarily worth the effort - see this thread : http://www.apug.org/forums/forum37/5...tep-wedge.html

As I exhausted all possibilities to come to the possession of this much praised book, I'd like to ask: shall we see all the stuff from the 1st edition in the 2nd edition or will it be a completely different story?

Unless I misunderstand your question, did you read post 24?

Not to worry. No content has been deleted from Ed1. The content from Ed1 was updated and a lot of new content has been added, but we did not eliminate any content. Ed2 = Ed1 + a lot of good stuff.

That's great news indeed Thank you for the info and of course, looking forward.
