Yes, the manuscript was closed yesterday. Everything goes to the printer early next month, and the book should be available a few weeks later. I will be able to ost a table of contents and the index soon.

This is exciting news. Make sure to bump this thread when you have stuff ready. I hope Amazon remembers to lower their prices when they get their stock.

Thanks for your interest in the book. Chris and I wrote the book, we do not sell it directly. It will be sold through major booksellers, and you may contact the publisher to find out about local retailers or individual ordering. I do not know if pre-orders are taken quite yet, but they will be able to give you more detail. Please contact Chris Coleman and his staff at:

Or even better an ebook version? Your prior edition selling out sucks for those of us who want to buy a copy of your book Ralph!

Most certainly! However, with the publisher being in Oxford, you as a UK resident won't have any trouble getting it.

eBook is an option that is being investigated. However, most current alternatives demand a reformatting of the book and have trouble with illustrations. Way Beyond Monochrome Ed2 contains over 1,000 illustrations. We will at least wait until they accept common pdf format and take it from there.

    Don't hold your breath.

Ed1 sold quicker than we thought. That's why we made Ed2! And, it's not just a reprint. It is a complete overhaul. Nothing was eliminated from the previous edition, but everything was improved and tons of information was added. That's how we went from 304 to 560 pages.
