Default Film lives and here's proof!!

Back in February we took prepaid special orders for Ilford film in ultra large and odd sizes and now the order has started to arrive. More Ilford film in more sizes than you'll ever see in one place at one time!

Ilford will be making special production runs like this every six months as long as demand holds up.

Life's good!

Fred Newman
The View Camera Store

Ilford Film ready to ship!

This is indeed good news, and it's good to see Fred Newman here on APUG.

If you would like to announce these developments regularly, click on the "Advertise on APUG" link at the bottom of the page to get in touch with Sean Ross and consider becoming an APUG Sponsor.

I thought The View Camera Store was already a sponsor.

Indeed The View Camera Store is a sponsor, and my apologies for suggesting that they were not. It's hard to keep track sometimes, particularly in the case of sponsors who don't post so regularly on the forum, and there were (unjustified) complaints, so I jumped the gun and posted before checking.

Fred--generally sponsors post these announcements in the "Sponsors' Forum," avoiding such confusion, so I'll move this there.

Yep! Please give my assistant, Dennis a call so we can got the film out to you.

I want to make sure that people are home to receive their order and that "home" hasn't moved since the order was placed in February.

Thanks,

Fred

My home is still the same as it was back then. Should I just call the number on your website?

That is great news and continues to demonstrate Ilford's willingness to support analoge photography and the needs of the LF community.

Not necessary. I'll ship today by Ground UPS and email you the tracking number. Do call if there is something else you need.
