Fuji--THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. I have been waiting for Acros 4x5 in cut film. I've ordered it from Megaperls in the past, it's great to know it will be available here in the US. 10 sheet boxes, 20 sheet boxes...who cares, as long as it is here. Thanks very much!

I think you will be loosing sales in the US with the decision to replace quickloads with cut sheets. Both products should be supported. QL is a unique product. Acros is not! If I have to load holders, I will shoot FP4+ since that is what I shoot in other formats. I know many others who will do the same. They use Acros because it is available in QL. Sad day!

The request was made by many in the U.S. to purchase Acros that did not require a special QL holder. So we are trying to do what we can. Manufacturing constraints are HUGE!!! The global demand for film is declining at a huge rate and it is more and more difficult to keep entire factories running for half the film volume of just 2 years ago. It is happening at all film companies. Ilford exists as a B&W company and has packaged teh way that they have for decades. We at Fujifilm are trying are hardest to keep analog photography and the culture of photography alive and well as much as Ilford and Kodak are. On that note...as of May 10th, 2009 Fujifilm USA will have FP100B 4x5/10 Sheet Packs available for your USA Pro Dealer to purchase. We hope this helps your photographic efforts.

Sorry....I just posted a question on the film thread about the availability of 4x5 Acros. I have just noted this thread. One can sense from the discussions here that the 4x5 Acros will not be here ( in other then QL ) for at least a while, if ever?
