    Pyro wars

I was looking something up on Google and came across a bunch of old Pyro/Cat threads (some APUG, some LFPF) in which Sandy King and Jay De Fehr hammer away at eachother pretty good. I had never seen these before (I've only been on APUG about two years now). Some pretty entertaining stuff to read. Wow.

    Want to get something started?

Wd2d+ is the best. The negs glow when you put them in the stop bath. It is that cool.

I developed my first two rolls in WD2D+ this last weekend; one FP4, one HP5.

Printed a couple test sheets from the HP5, so far I'm impressed.

    Those were the days!

I hope you found them not only entertaining, but informative as well -even if you have to pick through them in spots to glean information.

Pick through them? Understatement of the year, right there. God, there's so much flak in those threads that I'm STILL wading through them, and they're pretty much all that I've been reading for the last five or six days. All I wanted to do was learn how to use pyro developers... <weeping>...

That's easy, buy some WD2D+ and try it. It isn't that tough. You might want some Edwal LFN or Formulary's comparable wetting agent for the presoak.

Five or six days? I'm worried about you.

I'm worried about me, too. I won't even admit to having HC-110 figured out, and I'm already wanting to soak my skin in pyro. I've been breathing selenium fumes too long, or something.
