Beautiful print with lots of detail! Very nice.
Once a photographer is convinced that the camera can lie and that, strictly speaking, the vast majority of photographs are "camera lies," inasmuch as they tell only part of a story or tell it in a distorted form, half the battle is won. Once he has conceded that photography is not a "naturalistic" medium of rendition and that striving for "naturalism" in a photograph is futile, he can turn his attention to using a camera to make more effective pictures.

I _love_ Tri-X @ 1000, developed in Acufine, stock dilution. I prefer it to Microphen but honestly I can't quite put my finger on it. Stuff lasts forever and you can replenish it.I have developed Tri-X @ 1600 in Acufine, the results were acceptable. Even pretty decent.

Another vote for Diafine. Tri-X @ 1250. Works like a charm. Expose for the shadows and let the 2-bath action protect the highlights from blowing out. Just don't agitate.

Diafine is at it's best once you've put a few rolls though it so it ripens. Midlife Diafine is pretty amazing.

TMY-2 400 @1250 or 1600 is in some ways even better...
