Is Arista EDU Ultra 200 the same as the 100?

Is the Arista EDU Ultra 200 the same as the 100 variety? How about the 400 version? I really like the 100, but sometimes need a faster film. Was looking at some of the 100 that I souped in Microdol-X (you can shoot it at 100 or even 200 w/ this developer full strength) and comparing it too my usual Tri-X in D76, and actually prefer the Arista. It's a LOT sharper too.

The correct answer is no, it is not like 100, it is tabular grain. It does not react the same as 100 and has it's own set of properties.

Didn't know that. Thanks Rick. So I can expect a different look from the 100.

100 is very old school look. My favorite and used in both Foma and Arista brands in my 4x5. I've never used 200 or 400.
