I know this topic should belong to the color section of this forum but I'm posting here because I hope it gets much more exposure (no pun intended!!!) :-)
Here's my problem: as you can see from the crappy image attached (which I've made with my webcam - please don't shoot in my back :-)), several slides have this white faint line across them.
I've tried to clean them in every possible way, to no avail.
What I've tried is:
1- cleaning with photoflo 1:200
2- only photoflo with a cotton swab
3- with an electronic contact cleaner
4- only distilled water
The slides have been developed by a professional lab here in Rome, Italy, where I live.
I can argue the faint line is a stabilizer leftover but I cannot remove it. Ah, last thing: Pec-12 in NOT available here.
What can I do to salvage these slides?
