    Ilford alternatives to Kodak Products.

I was wondering if any particular Kodak films and chemicals are soon to be discontinued or if this chart is simply to provide comparable Ilford products to those from Kodak for people considering switching to Ilford materials?

Looks to me like Ilford is trying to cash in on disatisfaction with Kodak because of its discontinuance of all B&W papers.

If Kodak don't want analogue customers then good luck to Ilford.

Its probably easier to put up a PDF with that info than reply to lots of email queries. Its useful info, fair play to them

Yup, that's me alright. Over 20 years of using Tri-X and HC-110 gone with one announcement by the Great Yellow Traitor. They're getting none of my money to fund their little campain. Nope, not one penny.

    I like my HP5+

I dumped Kodak 10 years ago. So no loss here.

I'll still use Kodak chemicals if they remain available. Been using Dektol, D76, Rapid Fixer, Indicator Stop Bath and the like since I wet my first roll of film. I'm used to them and they are consistent. I stopped using Tri-X when I discovered HP5+. I always preferred PanF to Panatomic. Never liked Tech Pan. Hate TMax. Stopped using their papers long ago.

    Lee,
What do you like about HP5+ over Tri-X? I'm just wondering as I just finished a box of Tri-X but have only started trying to use HP5+.

Makes sense. They probably should do one for AgfaPhoto too.
