    Black & White display films

    Hi there,
I was wondering if anyone knows of a source for black and white display films that can be backlit rather like the Ilfochrome Classic Clear Display Film or Classic Translucent Display Film can be for colour? any help will be much appreciated,

    Lachlan

I've seen conventional large format films like HP5+ and Tri-X reversal processed by dr5 as B&W transparencies for viewing on a lightbox that look beautiful. I'd guess the choice of film would depend on what size you need and which films of those available in the required size have a sufficiently clear base. David Wood at dr5 should be able to make a recommendation. Info at www.dr5.com.

If you don't need reversal processing, it might be worth trying just printing your negs on film.
