    APX-25 in Rodinal?

I did both a search and looked on the gianormous development chart and did not find any info on APX-25 soup times.

I prefer to use Rodinal as that is what I have so what is the scoop on this?
I am shooting it in 120.

I used to shoot apx25 many years ago and processed it in Rodinal 1:100. It gave the most amazing charcoaly beautiful mid tones ever.

I thought the Agfa recommended time was on the Rodinal bottle. Anyway, the ginormous dev chart seems to have it buried under 'obsolete' films:
    APX 25 dev info here
Click on 'Unlisted Data' and scroll down to where they show info on APX 25.

You can try APX 25 with Rodinal for 7 minutes at 1+25 and 10 minutes at 1+50 and see if you like to results.

Rodinal is a very versatile developer, but unlike most dilution has far more effect on negative contrast.

I used to use 1:25 for N+2 development, 3:100 for N development and 1:50 for N-2 development. Put more simply N is normal development, N-2 reduced development when the subject matter is very high contrast, N+2 when the subject is very low contrast so yo need to increase negative contrast.

Before some people get confused Rodinal Special is quite different developer to Rodinal and results aren't cmparable.
