I couldn't remember what the first B&W film I used was, so I checked... It was HP5 Developed in Microphen back in February 1983 and was the 2nd 35mm film that I ran through my first 35mm SLR: a Fujica STX-1. The very first film, if your intereseted, was an Ilford colour slide film, but I can't remember what it was called.

Tri-X 400. Developed in D76. I know this for a fact, 'cos it was only about 18 months ago, and I fell in love with 'analogue' immediately.

(I'm one of those converts the other way - digital to film. If it helps, I haven't picked up a digital camera in about 12 months.)
Another day goes under; a little bourbon will take the strain...

T Max 400 in D76 1:1 developed for 12 minutes agitated 10 seconds every minute. It was 1999. I even remember the first few exposures.
I don't know where I'm going, but I'm on my way.

Verhichrome Pan, in 616 size roll film with a little Ansco camera my mother gave me when I was 11 or 12 and wanted a camera to take pictures with.
Still have the camera, but no idea what happened to the negatives!

FP4 back in the early 70's

And seeing as I just found a 100' unopened roll in my garage that I must of bought in the mid 80's
but lost track of when I moved; I guess I can say it is my latest film too.
