I have the little trial kit coming, I will report back when I get results. I just wish they would make it in 120.

Wolf, any chance there will be some ATP sheet samples for test?

Also, do you have any status on that new Rollei IR that we tested?

Thanks!

My first result with ATP,exposures of a sun/shade contrasty subject.
EI 8 Rodinal 1:200 15 min 68F Agitate 30s then every 2 min.(2.5ml rodinal->500ml).
A proof print shows no defects.
Microscopic examination of test chart negative shows 100 line-pairs/mm.

100 lp/mm with what contrast of test chart? 1:1000? 1:1.6? or some other?

My test charts are ordinary black print on white card.I used the Canon 50mm 1.8 EF. This type of film outresolves the lens.The attached photomicrograph made earlier gets the same 100lp/mm result with Copex Rapid.It shows a photomicrograph of the negative of the test chart round the 100 lp/mm section.

On Orthopan UR (Adox CMS20) I reached 180lp/mm at f/8 with the EF 50/1,8. Test pattern was USAF 1951 printed with a laserprinter on ordinary office paper - contrast is something like 5 or 6 stops: high, but normal.

First crude check on ATP in Caffenol LC gave something like 120 or 130 lp/mm - enough. Still investigating the best low cost developer.

Alan J - Keep testing, my suppler of ATP in the UK only supplies the test kitt or film. They don't do the bigger 140ml bottles of developer.

Wolf, any chance of doing the developer in larger bottles- say-250 ml +?

Regards Mark
