    Graded paper printing techniques book?

Can anyone recommend any books on printing techniques for black and white graded paper. I'm thinking older books pre VC papers which are mostly about printing rather than general B+W photography.

    thanks

    C.I. Jacobson, Enlarging.

Excellent 60's book, I learnt to process and print in the late 60's with this book along with Developing, by the same author. I have the 1940 first editions of both but the late 60's editions are much better.

In fact as a result of your post I've just bought the 70's editions £4.99 for both on Amazon.

If you can find a set of Fred Picker's Zone VI newsletters, it's very useful. You'll have to take some of his advice with a grain of salt (he was very opinionated and a good salesman), but the information on printing is excellent.

    Rob, Try here; http://www.bookfinder.com/search/?au...ed&st=sr&ac=qr
Bookfinder covers the rest of the world that doesn't sell through Amazon.

Also, I agree with Don and Nicholas Postexposure is excellent and covers many more topics than just graded paper. The Print is another I'd recommend.

Ansel Adams' "The Print" should not be left out.

Nor should William Mortenson's "Print Finishing" - or indeed any of his numerous other books.
