    One can always use neutral density filters. If memory serves, B&W makes ND filters to 10 stops. ISO 400 will then be, effectively ... ISO 0.375 ... (did I get that right?)

    I know a guy that does that. David Fokos is his name. He shoots 8x10 cameras and uses B&W ND filters and then imports the film via drum scanner to his mac. He works on them and outputs to a file and has them printed via Lightjet technology. He sometimes tells how many objects traveled thru the scene without being recorded.
