You and the OP may have paper from the same BAD batch.
You both agree that MID GRAY is it. Your other papers,
no complaint.

BTW, if you need contrast try Slavich. I think their Grade
4 may just make Grade 6. My tests show their Grade 2 starts
out at a Grade 3, and that in a very low contrast developer.
In a contrasty developer it will just make Grade 4. Dan
