    Why not get yourself a tank where you can process 6 negatives at one time ????
    I have used one for the past 25 odd years or so and never had these problems.......

    This is why I hate tray processing. My suggestion is that you pick up a Beseler drum, and use that (or taco dev in a tank)

    With that sort of number of negs, one possibility is to use a 1 gallon deep tank and 4 up hangers. Like the narrow tank here:
