what's not convenient however is almost a 10% sales tax rate. utter rubbish IMO.

so b&h gets most of my film orders, not that I need any more film for the next 2 or 3 years .

except efke 25. I'm willing to pay sales tax on that, since freestyle's price is sooo much better than b&h's, especially since they also give a student discount, unlike b&h

In Ontario, Canada we have 13% sales tax, and as of July 1st that will get applied on stuff ordered from other provinces and countries as well as stuff that comes from within Ontario, when it goes from GST+PST to HST.

If you Americans think you pay a lot of taxes now, just wait, you have a government that is essentially bankrupt that is signing into law a health care plan that will pay Billions upon Billions to for profit health insurance companies, to cover those that don't have health insurance now. Where do you think those Billions of dollars will come from? My guess is a batch of fresh new taxes and/or less federal money to the states, forcing them to create a batch of fresh new taxes. Of course there is always old taxes that can be increased. Taxes on motor fuel and booze I would think are ripe for increasing.

Don't we know it, too. I wish people would realize what those "Comrades" in Washington really want: A Socialized State, in which THEY (the Party) control the people.
Too many in this country have forgotten what the Founding Fathers fought for...and the tyranny they came out of. Well, it seems as always, history repeats itself, and unfortunately, it has to be during my generation or my child's generation.

To quote Ben Franklin, "Sell not virtue to purchase wealth, nor Liberty to purchase power." [Any country/people] willing to trade their freedom in exchange for temporary security deserve neither and will lose both.

Yeah, yeah, talk to the corporations who've got you on IV drip about why America is not what it used to be, my friend. Anyways, this is totally soapbox/lounge material, so I'm stopping here.
Stop worrying about grain, resolution, sharpness, and everything else that doesn't have a damn thing to do with substance.
