    How did Freestyle do that?

I placed an order to Freestyle in Hollywood, CA in the mailbox Saturday morning in South Bend, Indiana. Just an ordinary envelope with a first class stamp; a printed copy of my shopping cart and a postal money order.

This afternoon (Monday) I got an e-mailed order acknowledgement from Freestyle. One business day from Indiana to California? How'd they do that? Everything else I mail to California takes 3-4 days. I can't usually get a letter to Chicago in one day (back when Calumet carried film.) Heck, I can't get a letter from the next town over in one day.

I'm trying to decide whether or not I should be worried...

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming– “Wow! What a Ride!”

The mail moves on weekends, so it is not too unusual -- what is unusual, in a good way, is the same-day email response from a letter.
At least with LF landscape, a bad day of photography can be a good day of exercise.

    Haha, nice!
I used to get everything from B&H, but I'm beginning to enjoy Freestyle myself, now that I live in SoCal.

The mail is surprisingly good. I once got a 5 gallon keg shipped from Arizona to Ohio in two days for $6.50.

Sounds like it wasn't so much Freestyle, though they did their part, as the USPS.
I've occasionally had similar rapid mail progress, though 2-3 days coast to coast is more common.
The record, for me, was a postcard for one the exchanges that showed up in Germany two days after mailing it.

There is a homebrew supply store in Tucson that has great prices. I usually order my ingredients and equipment from them. http://beer-wine-brewing.com

Freestyle and the US Postal Service are just good like that ......I love Freestyle but the only downside is that a package from them shipped FedEx takes a week to get to me.

Can't go wrong with Freestyle. They're reasonably priced and fast. Also Fed ex does a pretty good job in delivering also. A winning combination.
