    Pan F+ and Rodinal....

...any opinions? I happened to pick some up Saturday (ran out of TMax 100, and Pan F was on sale) -- gonna run it in Rodinal 1+25 unless someone stops me.

My favorite for Pan F+ is Rodinal with the 1:50 dilution.

Good balance of developing time, tonal scale and Dmax plus high acutance.

As a starting point, try 7 minutes at 68 deg. F with 10 seconds of gentle agitation per minute (for a condensor enlarger with conventional silver bromide paper).

I agree with Tom on the devloping time and also would suggest 1-50 dil. I have always liked this combination. Really nice tonal scale and very sharp negatives.

I like to do that too, but I find 7 min. too short for Pan F+ at ISO 50. I use 10-12 minutes depending on the use. But I also like to develop it in 1+100 at ISO 25 for 15 minutes. Nice substitute for Agfa 25.
