One of the things I like about development by inspection is that I no longer have to obsess about cooling baths. I just run everything at my cold water temp, which is 80 degrees f for me as well, so I don't have a problem with reticulation. I use dilute enough developer so that I don't have any development times shorter than 10-15 minutes.

Now, if my water temp got much hotter than 80, I'd probably keep a bunch of jugs of room temperature water around and look into doing a long wash in standing water, but seeing as how my cold water temp is probably set by the temperature of the ground about 5-10 feet down, I don't see that changing a whole lot.
