My gallery is taken with plus x and developed in C41 minilab. I dont know how this lab was succeeding it but Their old small Konica minilab were used by all student photographers in Ankara.
Wouldn't that bleach out most, if not all, of the silver in the film?

Results.
The Film didnt completely clear, was quite a bit purple and very slightly opaque i think. I think this caused a little bit of reduced contrast.
The best shots from the roll, printed and scanned. I think these results are quite good.
My aspiration of late is to become more Bohemian; "a person with artistic or intellectual tendencies, who lives and acts with no regard for conventional rules of behavior."
Sorry I missed out on the earlier part of the thread, but I ran XP2 through Rodinal at 1+25 for 18 mins earlier this year and posted the shot at the link below. I wouldn't claim it as a route to ultimate quality, but it can certainly be done!
Use Rodinal 1:100 one hour stand. The results are excelent! I use this method to develop XP2 at home!
That works well with most C41 types I've tried. The only downside with colour C41 being processed like this (apart from the monochrome result) is that the orange mask makes optical printing onto BW paper a PITA. Scans and minilab prints fine
