Those are very nice images. To bad they ship with UPS, as they add $30 to do customs brokering. I will have to buy a bunch to make it worthwhile.

Send then an e-mail. The film I bought was sent by USPS after I raised that point. The folks who are running the show seem to be quite accommodating.

Hi mrred, Shipping with UPS can be tricky. If you pay lowest shipping price then you got punish by "brokerage fee", if you pay a few $ more brokerage is included in price. I'm always reluctant to do any business with them because of that. On NA ORWO web site they mentioned bad experience with Brooklyn postal office and that they need to find another one. My film was send by USPS. I'm sure they are flexible to arrange best possible and cheapest shipping.

I just compared prices for these 27-shot films - almost $8, roughly $0.28 per shot.

The prices I pay for my own hand-rolled 36-shot films:

    $2.54 ($0.07 per shot) for the UN54
    $3.81 ($0.11 per shot) for the N74

Of course, I don't have fancy stickers
The future belongs to the few of us still willing to get our hands smell like fixing bath.

    From the e-bay ad:
"As with most bulk-rolled film, the last shot of each roll will not come out properly as it is taped to the spool. "

I have no idea that that means. Perhaps he is using six inches of tape?
My other interpretation is that these are actually half-rolls (18 exposure) and he winds out to 27 on the bulk loader's counter. So he is indicating you won't get the full 27 exposures.

It's about getting you hands on a few rolls to test out before you buy a 100 feet or so of film.
I feel the seller is offering us a service we could choose to take advantage of and it's OK for him to earn a few bucks in the process.
If you were to contact him directly he most likely would make you 36 exp rolls if you cared for them.
