Yeah, those PKA's are highly sought after!

    Like the EOS ones...
I do use a digital device in my photographic pursuits when necessary.
When someone rags on me for using film, I use a middle digit, upraised.

I'd happily use a Chinese EOS adapter if the Tamron lens had a Manual/Auto diaphram. I use M42 to EOS Chinese adapters with the focus confirmation and they work well, but most of my Tamron Adaptall lenses have no manual setting.

In this case there's two Tamron lenses involved, both given free here on APUG, the best one was for my niece to use on an EOS. the older to go to Umut in Istanbul, because the older lens has a manula/auto switch it's going to my niece and a cheap Chinese EOS adapter will be perfect, the genuine Tamron mount did littlle more.

However the newer lens is now going with me to Turkey on Sunday and will be passed on to Umut (an APUG member) I guess I'll have to let him have my PK mount adapter until I find another

I've wondered about that. With only electrical contacts between EOS camera and lens, I figured the EOS adapter would either be unable to actuate the diaphragm, or they somehow managed to put an actuator in the adapter!

And here I thought Umut only used Leica!
