WTB: 4X5 Grafmatic for Graflex back #1168

I am in the market for a 4X5 Grafmatic for my RB Series D Graflex. This is model 1168 not the more common 1268. Must be in useable condition with septums.

    Hello Allan,
get back to me if you aren't successful. We've got a couple, but we're in Tasmania.

Thanks for the kind reply. I'll keep you in mind. I imagine shipping from Tasmania wouldn't be more than US$1000 and 6 months

How does one discern between the two?

A bunch of Nikons; Feds, Zorkis and a Kiev; Pentax 67-II (inherited from my deceased father-in-law); Bronica SQ-A; and a nice Shen Hao 4x5 field camera with 3 decent lenses that needs to be taken outside more. Oh, and as of mid-2012, one of those bodies we don't talk about here.

Favourite film: do I need to pick only one?

    Grafmatic Types

The Grafmatic for Graflex backs has thin protrusions on each side and is cut away on the back so that it mates with the sliding locks on the camera back (image 1). The Grafmatic for Graphic cameras is shaped more or less like a regular film holder (image 2).

Shipping depends on how many paddlers are in the canoe.

Mine seems to be a 1268.

Still no leads on the Graflex Grafmatic. John&Tessa could you PM me with the details of the ones you've got?
I'm curious about the cryptic body as well.
