FS: Minolta Autocord and Yashica A
It’s spring cleaning time again at Not So Stately Oren Manor. Today’s theme is “TLRs”.
First up is a Minolta Autocord, with 75mm f/3.5 Rokkor taking lens in Seikosha MX shutter, speeds B and 1-1/500. The body is well worn cosmetically but appears to be in good working order. The shutter works at all speeds and sounds about right, though speed accuracy has not been tested. The viewing lens has a bit of dust and some cleaning marks. The taking lens also has a bit of internal dust consistent with its age as well as some very minor cleaning marks, but nothing that should affect image quality in normal use. Unlike with many Autocords, the focusing lever is still intact and the focusing action is reasonably smooth. Includes a generic plastic lens cap.
Price is $200. I’ll cover PayPal as well as shipping within the US.
Second is a Yashica A, with 80mm f/3.5 Yashimar in Copal shutter, speeds B and 1/25-1/300. I believe the Yashimar is a triplet; you can expect it to be a bit soft wide open, but to deliver decent results stopped down. The body is in remarkably nice cosmetic shape, especially given its age. The shutter works at all speeds. I have no way to test accuracy, but to my eye/ear the action of the shutter doesn’t change enough from speed to speed, so assume that some of the speeds must be off. As with the Autocord, the taking lens has some internal dust and very minor cleaning marks, but should be fine in use. Same with the viewing lens. Includes the original Yashica lens cap.
Price is $75. I’ll cover PayPal as well as shipping within the US.
