Nikon AF Lenses & Other Equipment

Reposting to get rid of sold equipment. Here's what's left:

After much soul searching, I've decided that (at least until my next buying spree) I'm keeping my Nikon manual focus equipment, but going to Canon for autofocus. (Not a value judgment, but because I've got access to new Canon equipment at work.)

So, I'm getting rid of my base set of Nikon AF lenses, as well as of my Nikon digital SLR. Everything in this listing is lightly used, very nice, perfectly clean and functions perfectly. I bought all of it new, mostly from B&H.

I prefer Paypal, but don't really mind waiting on a money order to get here if you prefer. I ship to North America only.

To keep things simple, I'm offering free shipping and fees in the U.S. Canada shipping would be $10-$15 more, I imagine (except for the big kit, which is probably $25-$30 more).

I'm much more inclined to sell to APUG members that I've seen around the forums than to people who sign up just to buy. For what it's worth, my auction site feedback -- where I've sold plenty of photo equipment -- is 100 percent positive. My id on the massive auction site is: classicphotographydude. Please let me know if you have any questions.

    1. Nikon Nikkor AF 85mm f/1/8
    2. Tamron AF 90mm MACRO Nikon mount - Made in Japan
    3. 52mm Coklin Circular Polarizer
    4. Nikon D90 18mm-55mm AF-S VR kit - Only 2289 shutter activations

    THE ITEMS
    ============================================
    1. Nikon Nikkor AF 85mm f/1.8
Price: $350 plus free shipping in U.S.

This is the one so many folks are after after, especially since the affordable Nikon full frame digitals arrived. Includes hood, caps as shown. No box, because I never thought I'd sell it. Bought new by me around 2003 or so.

    2. Tamron AF 90mm MACRO Nikon mount - Made in Japan
    Price: $300 plus free shipping

You'll have to read some reviews about the Tamron lenses from this era to get an idea of the excellent build quality. Metal mounts, screws, all the old-school traits. The optics don't disappoint either. Like other macro (micro) lenses, it can tend to search a lot on unlimited auto-focus, but I used it for macro work, so not an issue. Bought new by me around 2000 for some very specialized work, but kept around because I liked it. Includes, hood, caps, padded bag.

    4. Nikon D90 18mm-55mm AF-S VR kit - Only 2289 shutter activations
    Price: $550 plus free shipping

Easy to read all about this combo, including the Vibration Reduction lens. This one is barely used and comes with everything, including original boxing, manuals in English and Spanish, battery, battery charger, software, etc. Also has a wireless shutter release. I got this as my digital camera but now have been assigned a Canon at work, so I havenít used this one much.

Think I'm going to hit the auction site Sunday night with this stuff if no takers. I'd rather keep it here, so I'll knock $50 bucks off all the pricey stuff, so now the list shapes up like this:

    1. Nikon Nikkor AF 85mm f/1/8 - $300
    2. Tamron AF 90mm MACRO Nikon mount - Made in Japan - $250
    3. 52mm Coklin Circular Polarizer - $20
    4. Nikon D90 18mm-55mm AF-S VR kit - Only 2289 shutter activations $500

Thanks for looking. Write with questions.

Wanted to let the APUG folks know that my auctions on this unsold stuff are closing out this weekend and it looks like there might be a really good deal to be had on the Tamron Macro lens. Thanks.
