Fs: Computar 105-150mm Medium Format Zoom Lens

    Computar 105mm-150mm Zoom Lens F4.5-5.6
I bought this from the surplus place. It is in good condition, has one small coating spot on rear surface.
Said to cover 4x5 at the 150mm length.

    $30 plus postage.

These were actually designed and sold as enlarger lenses and had a good reputation, there was shorter FL version as well 50-80mm.

At Jon's price you'd have a remarkably versalite enlarger lenses fro formats from 6x7 to 5x4.

I made a lens board for the Computar 105 ~ 150 to adapt it the Speed Graphic.

I am using it with the RH/8 120 rollfilm back. It vignettes slightly on 6 x 9 , so a crop is needed - to about 6x7.

When the lens is set to 135 mm the Speed Graphic's standard rangefinder and scales work perfectly,
and I have added another scale for 105mm which is a better fl for 6x7.
I am pleased with the lens, I think it is really good value!

Until Ian's post my searches indicated they were used in the 70 mm long roll Camerz electric cameras which were used for school photos in USA prior to digital.

    Nice!

I should mention this lens doesn't have adjustable aperture.
