FS-Schneider APO-Componon 150mm f4 HM
Hello,
This lens was purchased by my previous employer some 4-5 years ago with the intentions of setting up the 8x10 Fotar in a new (to be built darkroom). There was some question as to whether it fit this enlarger, but SK Grimes could make it fit about anything I guess. I have no real knowledge as to whether it works on this particular enlarger or not as I was not employed with them at the time they purchased it. As far as I knew, it was just this unbelievable piece of glass in a box I used to take out every once in a while and stare at like a Picasso. Last week I was in to say hello and they informed me that they no longer have plans to build the darkroom once planned. It has been sitting in it's original packaging the entire time and never used. It's B-E-A-Utiful and I would like to offer it here for a discount from purchasing basically the same thing for $400-$500 more. Price: $800.00 usd

I have put up this offer over @ LF and thought I would do the same here.
So I ended up with this lens in work for trade since they had no use for it. I have a Rodagon 150mm on my enlarger and I'm not sure I will EVER know the difference if I choose this over the Rodagon.
I found these elements screwed right into a copal #1 and I have taken a couple of shots with it. There is a discussion thread here; (http://www.apug.org/forums/forum44/8...xperience.html). This is all the use it has ever seen. I know it is not intended for this purpose, so I am offering a new deal here.
I would like a "Proper" high end 150mm shooting lens in a good working shutter. If you have such a lens you can let go of, this might be the time to get a great deal on what is considered the Best 150mm enlarging lens on the market.
Trade + cash, Let me hear them.
Thanks,
Jody
