WOW. Sure wish I could right-click and drag Chicago out here, snag the goods, then right-click and drag back!!!
I would love to use the "FP" flash setting on my camera, but I cannot find "Flash Powder" anywhere... such is life.

Wow, indeed!
There's got to be someone on APUG who needs this. (...or who has a good sized truck and is willing to drive 6 hours with it. )

It looks like an L184 converted to an Aristo head. If the condenser head is not included, then the condensers would be superfluous (but valuable to someone looking for them !!). If you go to look at this, make sure both flat springs coiled up at the top are intact. Though with the much lighter Aristo head, it may work Ok if one spring is broken. Hey it is free, so if you wind up going to see it, just haul it (and any related items like lens boards, condensers, spare condenser head, bulb, power supply for the Aristo, etc) home and ask questions later

I just do not have a space for it, hopefully it finds a good home and does not end up in a landfill.

What a wonderful idea! (and very considerate of you, too... ) You pick it up, and drive it to Detroit... I'll meet you and we can bring it across the border together.
