Lovely Antique Whole Plate or 8x10 Lens in non-shutter. Andrew J Lloyd of Boston. $70

This lens apparently is destined to be part of someone else's life. I had been planning to mount it up but this does not seem to be in the stars. So here it is for sale. Glass is simply magic. It is as clear as any 100 year old lens on the planet. There is a tiny crescent of edge separation but it is of no consequence. Use wide open or mount in a fancier shutter. The current shutter is, shall we say, well done. Please notice the name on the original lenscap: Andrew J Lloyd of Boston, so it carries an extra dash of cache as well. But the glass is the point! Let's try at $70 unless someone knows that it is worth much more or much less. And just to make it interesting, half of any amount over $70 will go to APUG, up to a limit of $20. Buyer pays only actual shipping. Enjoy!

Neat lens! I'm a sucker for these. Got 3-4 of them recently. Now I got to start using them!
