In 2008, Canada honored Yousuf Karsh's 100th birthday with three stamps included in a souvenir sheet showing his portraits.
Surprisingly rather than showing a portrait of Mr. Karsh with this camera they chose a self-portrait of him holding an 8 x 10 black-and-white negative while the negative is still in the film processing hanger. This features him as a darkroom worker rather than as a studio photographer.
The feature portraits on the stamps are: Audrey Hepburn, Winston Churchill and the previously mentioned portrait of Mr. Karsh.
in addition to the three stamps, the sheet also shows 24 other portraits that he made.I don't know all of the subjects however the ones I am able to identify include: Mohammed Ali, Humphrey Bogart, Dwight David Eisenhower,Mother Teresa, Sophia Loren, Pablo Picasso, Pope John, Martin Luther King, John F. Kennedy, Nikita Khrushchev, Walt Disney, Prince and Princess Rainier, Yuri Gagarin, at 21-year-old Queen Elizabeth II, Albert Einstein and Ernest Hemingway.
I have a few of these that I will sell for $6 each including delivery to a USA address. The face value of the postage is over three dollars
