Karl, don't spoil the party.
Uh-oh, do I see another anti-digital rant underway?
Look, there are tons of wonderful and cheap Pentax K-mount lenses out there.
Perhaps someone would like to use them on a DSLR.
There's enough room for everyone here.
Aron, I know you were just kidding, right?
If I had spare cash I'd jump on this - a good DSLR that will take all my K mount lenses, they see very little use now with film (I mainly use MF & LF and have done for 26+ years).
The Sales forum isn't the place for Digital/Analog bashing, a great many of us use both even though we are more committed to film.
I use the K-x with a bunch of old film lenses. Works well. My current favorite the the 80s-vintage A 50/2.8 macro.
Second is my new-to-me M* 300/4. Really nice early ED glass.

I went through a traffic accident last night and things were a bit rough. Good luck with your sale.

Hadn't planned to spend soon but that's tempting. I have K mount lenses and have toyed with the idea of getting a DSLR mainly for all the family stuff folks want and I just don't have time to do in the darkroom, at least not in less than a year.
Roger, if you could see the results that this camera can produce with any Pentax K-Mount, or even screw-mount lens, you would be amazed. Please be aware that the effective focal length of your lenses will be magnified by 50%.
I do have an almost new 18-55mm Pentax Auto-Focus Zoom kit lens, which becomes effectively a very lightweight 28-85mm walk-around zoom. I could add that to the package for $100. It is like new in the box. Two more selling points: the body is weatherproof (splash-proof) and it shoots fanatastic movies in the Live-View mode. If it doesn't sell here at APUG, then it will go on to eBay at a higher price.
